Direct Mail With Salesforce Contacts and Leads
At the core of the eduPostal Salesforce direct mail integration, the address information stored in Salesforce Contacts and Salesforce Leads is used as the addresses in a eduPostal Campaign. Salesforce users know that these “objects” (Salesforce lingo) are at the heart of the system. In our interviews with potential users, it became clear that different clients use these objects differently, so for us to cover the majority of the Salesforce direct mail use cases, we needed to be able to pull both Contacts and Leads into campaigns, as well as sync delivery and response stats back to them for use in other workflows.
Smart Send And Triggered Drip Campaigns Both Work With Salesforce
eduPostal offers both list based direct mail (of any list size – no minimums!) as well as triggered direct mail. Now Salesforce users can create direct mail campaigns in minutes using our Smart Send or Triggered Drip campaigns. Once the integration is set up, eduPostal can pull the Contact or Lead information automatically, and communicate the status of each campaign back to the Contacts or Leads, so that marketers & salespeople will know when mail is delivered (or returned) and whether there’s been an online response.
Need to send mail to a segment of your Contacts or Leads? While Salesforce has a powerful segmentation tool called Campaigns that we recommend, you can also use “Views” that you save within your Contacts or Leads objects. These will be easily pulled into eduPostal when you’re uploading a list.
Use Salesforce Campaigns For Powerful Direct Mail Segmentation And Attribution
A little known tool within Salesforce is designed exactly for use with direct mail and eduPostal. Salesforce Help Docs describe Campaigns as “Manage outbound marketing campaigns with direct mail programs, seminars, print ads, email and other kinds of marketing collateral.” “Organize campaigns into hierarchies for easy analysis to see what works best for increasing your company’s sales. Salesforce makes it easy for you to quickly locate, manage, and report on campaigns.”
eduPostal users can integrate Contacts or Leads that have been organized into a Salesforce Campaign directly into eduPostal Lists for Smart Sends. Want to send a postcard inviting your top leads in a particular city or state to a conference? Or send a special coupon to your contacts that are a member of your VIP club? It’s super easy using Salesforce Campaigns and eduPostal.
Send Direct Mail To Salesforce Accounts
Account based marketing is a very popular methodology today, and many Salesforce users want to send mail to Contacts within specific accounts to coincide with their email and other efforts. eduPostal now makes it easy to Smart Send direct mail postcards or letters to Salesforce Accounts. You can create Saved Views of Accounts and directly import the Contacts in Salesforce associated with these accounts into eduPostal Lists, each of which can be used across multiple Smart Send campaigns.
Salesforce Editions That Work With eduPostal
The eduPostal Salesforce Direct Mail integration was built to be compatible with Salesforce Lightning, as well as older versions. At a minimum, you’ll need to have API access enabled within your Salesforce instance.
