Tasks are to-do items created for contacts and deals, which are contacts assigned to a pipeline.
You can assign tasks to other users on your eduCRM account when creating a task or after you've created a task.
Deal tasks can only be assigned to an account user who has permission to access the pipeline that the deal is in. The task assignee does not need to be the deal owner.
By default, any task created will be assigned to the person who created it.
In this article, we'll show you how to assign a task after it's been created in your account. These instructions can be used for both contact and deal tasks.
How to assign a task
1. Click "Contacts" to navigate to the Contacts Overview page.
2. Click "Manage Tasks."
3. Locate the task you wish to assign to another user.
4. Click the down caret for that task, then click "Edit task."
5. The "Edit Task" modal will appear. Click the "Assigned To" dropdown and click the account user you wish to assign the task to.
6. Click the "Save" button.
An email notification will be sent to the user letting them know that a task has been assigned to them.
